Meet Our Team
Each of the Wilmington Preschool of the Arts teachers and staff brings elements of excellence to the WPA team. Every WPA teacher is CPR and First Aid certified. Each of our lead teachers has a bachelor's or associate's degree and even our teacher's assistants are more than qualified with years of childhood education experience. We also complete yearly furthering education classes with Smart Start of New Hanover County as well as attend the National Association for the Education of Young Children Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina each year.

Center Director
Melissa Majewski
Ms. Missy Holds a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Administration from The University of Massachusetts UWW. Missy has over 30 years of teaching experience and 5 years in administration. Missy is a proud mother of her 2 sons who currently serve in the military. In her free time, Missy enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, and visiting family.

Estefania Lizarazo
Ms. Estefania holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Cape Fear Community College and is currently working on her ECE Bachelors from UNCW. Estefania has 2 years of experience and has been at WPA since February 2022. In her free time, Estefania loves to read, spend time with family and go to the beach!
Pre-K
Allison Jackson
Ms. Allison graduated from West Liberty University with a Regents Bachelors of Arts; heavy emphasis in early and special education. Allison has 7 years of experience and says "Nothing brings me more joy than being with children". Outside of WPA you can find Allison singing, writing, and hanging out with friends.
4 Year Olds
Madison Krainiak
Mrs. Madison graduated from Cape Fear Community College with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently working on her Bachelors Degree from Walden University. Maddie has 6 years of experience; 4 years in preschool and 2 years nannying. In her free time, Maddie loves to play volleyball, ride horses, camp, and go hiking!
4 Year Olds
Celia Donovan
Ms. Celia graduated from East Carolina University in 2017 with a bachelor's in fine arts and obtains her ECE credentials. In her free time Celia enjoys doing fiber and digital art, as well as listening to musical theater.
3 Year Olds
Dakota Williams
Ms. Dakota graduated from Walden University with a bachelor's in early childhood education and has 7 years of experience. Dakota is a big fan of sports, Duke being her favorite basketball team! In her free time, Dakota enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with friends and family.

Karla Burgos
Mrs. Karla moved to Wilmington from Peru in 2008 and studied at Cape Fear Community College. Karla has 4 years of experience is early childhood education. In her free time, Karla enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, playing soccer and volleyball!

Tiaquanna Graham
Ms. Tiaquanna holds an Associates Degree from Cape Fear Community College and has 25 years of experience. Tiaquanna is a proud mother to her 4 children and in her free time enjoys reading, cooking, and relaxing!

Carmen Casteel
Ms. Carmen has 3 years of experience working with children of all ages. Carmen enjoys singing, playing guitar, dancing, and making jewelry in her free time!

Ms. Victoria graduated from UNCW with a bachelor's in psychology. Victoria has 5 years of experience working with children of all ages and enjoys read and travel!

Music
Mark Sutton
Mr. Mark studied theater at SMU and is currently perusing a degree in ECE at Cape Fear Community College. Mr. Mark has spent over 10 years developing theater performances for young children and says working with children is the greatest privilege. Mr. Mark is a proud father to his 4 children and enjoys going on walks, puppetry, and watercolor!
School Bunny
Nibbles
Nibbles is a sweet bunny who loves giving cuddles and kisses. She can be found hopping around WPA and brightening everyone's day! Nibbles has 7 years of experience.
